To save her mother, whose body is turning into snake scales, Leah sells herself and is fatefully bound to Sean, the Serpent Lord, bearing nine serpent eggs. While Sean protects her, he is forced into a heavenly trial and leaves her behind. Alone, Leah returns home, only to be framed as a demon and nearly killed by her village.
