While being chased by enemies, Mason encounters Camille, who knocks him out and causes him to lose his safety pendant, while she leaves behind an earring. Camille pretends to be foolish at the James family home, only to be married off to the Quinn family as part of a traditional wedding to bring good fortune. On their wedding night, she discovers that her husband is Mason, so she continues the act to protect herself.
